Kastner Cup 2026
The 2026 Kastner Cup heads back to where it all began, Mosport!
In 2003, a small group of Triumph racers followed Kas Kastner to Mosport, the place where countless major racing series ran back in the glory days of motorsport. Nobody knew back then that our Kastner Cup series would continue for almost a quarter of a century, and beyond. Nobody knew what names would adorn the trophy in the years to come. But everyone who participated knew we were a part of something special. Heading back to Mosport for the 24th running of the Kastner Cup means a lot to many people, and we hope to see a full paddock of Triumph racers there!
Mosport held its first race in 1961. That year, the first major race was held, the Player’s 200. Stirling Moss won the event, and at that time proposed expanding the hairpin turn 5 into two corners, making it a greater challenge for drivers. To this day we have turn 5a and 5b, simply known as Moss Corner! In 2012, Mosport formed a partnership with Canadian Tire, and the track was renamed Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
